I ask myself really simple questions nowadays.
Is the money in the CPF mine? Yes, it is.
Who is managing it for me. Well, I know it's the CPF Board.
What are they using it for. Last I heard, it might have been used for investment purpose by GIC and earning an average of 8.2% for the last 25years. Did i benefit from that? Hmmmm..
Answer is no.
I will really want to have a better fund manager, and sack the current one.
Is the money in the CPF really mine? Yes, it is.
Did i agree to the Minimum sum? No
Did i agree to the increase in Draw Down Age? No
Did i agree to the Compulsory Annuity? No.
So it does seem that the CPF board has taken my rights of managing my own money.
The one size fit all policies may benefit some people. But i don't think it will benefit me.
Our government seems to be running the country like a large company, and is maximising the company's interest.
I really wish i can find another company.
